Nathan and his staff provided a great service experience. I had my van serviced before a 2,000 mile trip across the country with pets. I asked the condition of my tires and was given an honest answer that 2 tires needed to be replaced while 2 still were good. I was given several options to choose from. Everything was done in a timely manner and the cost was very reasonable. It is very refreshing to be treated as a valued customer even though this was my first visit to Walker Automotive. I most highly recommend this business.

Yesterday when I brought my car in I received a polite greeting, excellent service, and work that was completed in a timely manner. I would, and have, recommended this shop to newcomers in my neighborhood.

UPDATE: After leaving a negative review the owner of this shop called me. He was very polite on the phone and took the time to understand what my complaints were and actually listened to my feedback. I was upset the initial estimate was too vague, but after took the time to clarify things in depth it's obvious they aren't trying to pull a fast one.

My daughter hit a pothole driving to New London from Massachusetts resulting in front sidewall.damage that exposed the tire belts. When I told Arnie about this he said it was dangerous and would fit it into an already hectic day before Thanksgiving. He also gave me prices on a number of snow tires which enabled me to make an informed decision. He called to suggest an oil change and inspection sticker. So, at the end of that very busy day at Walker, the car was ready with 4 new snow tires, an oil change and an inspection sticker. Now my daughter can drive safely back to her job at a high school in Williamstown, Mass. We greatly appreciate Arnie's help, competence and positive, get it done attitude and the mechanic who did the excellent work. Walker Automotive is a well managed organization with competent and great people working there. They resolved a safety issue by installing 4 new snow tires on the car despite their hectic day before Thanksgiving work load. They are always great. My contact was informative throughout the process. Nick was pleasant and kept in touch regarding options, prices, timing etc. I think better signage is needed out at the road.
