Owner of Walker Automotive, Nathan Walker, started becoming interested in auto repair as a teenager. After high school, he went to a two-year program at NH Technical College where he received an Associates Degree and graduated at the top of his class in 1982. He ended up honing his skills at dealerships for the next 10 years. Nathan had a goal to own his own shop by the time he was 30 years old, so he bought land with a ranch house that he converted into an office and waiting area. He started performing automotive work there part-time while still commuting to the dealership. He made his dream come true in 1992, the week of his 30th birthday, when he quit the dealership and started working at his own business full time. Walker Automotive has been thriving ever since.
