Confirmed on the phone that I wanted a second transmission drain and fill after 3K miles as preventative maintenance, they said it wouldn’t be an issue. When I took my Honda Passport in they said the work wasn’t done because I had the service done 3K miles ago. Then they said I needed a new pair of control arms @$1,700 due to bushing failure and uneven tire wear. I took the car to the Honda dealership I bought it from because they agreed to do the repairs under the extended warranty, they said I could get over 50K miles from the bushings-they put the car on a 2-post and showed me the tires had normal wear. Walker automotive is also the only shop where I’ve gained brake pad thickness, they said 4/32, then 9/32, now we’re at 5/32.

Our son was visiting from NYC and was concerned about his brakes. We stopped by Walker late Monday afternoon and Chris was able to identify the brake pads needed replacement. Chris arranged to have new rear brakes ordered/installed on our sons Subaru by mid morning the next day, enabling him to get home safely that same day! Had a low oil sensor light. They changed it while I waited. I thought cost was reasonable and more importantly, they are people you can trust! Hard to find these days it seems.
